Four Elements is a non-profit and non-governmental organisation, active at local, national, and international level, and certified both by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Health for its actions. The headquarters of Four Elements are based in Athens, while maintaining operational offices and facilities in 7 major locations all over Greece to effectively address local challenges and ensure wide participation in foreseen activities. 

Four Elements is a leading institution in the Mediterranean for research and development in social issues, business, employment and education. The organisation’s mission is to support vulnerable groups and youth at multiple levels (personal, social, economic, etc.), inspire the next generation of education and business, ensure cultural and environmental awareness, and promote equal opportunities in all aspects of contemporary societies. Through their involvement in EU-funded projects, Four Elements has accumulated considerable knowledge and understanding in the areas of social responsibility, technology, culture, teacher training, inquiry-based learning and assessment methodologies. As so, the organisation focuses on the advancement of research and innovation through evidence- based practices and cutting-edge methods, aiming to appropriately address the changing needs of its target groups, that include: migrants and refugees, women and especially women in difficult situations, young people and in particular these facing socioeconomic exclusion, long-term unemployed and those with low professional qualifications, persons with special abilities and any kind of physical impairment and/or mental disorder, the elderly.
